- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/reference number is TYNDF22028007073; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26 and Defense DCN 20080721. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is J041. This solicitation is set aside for small business. Small business size standard is $14M. This request for quotation consists of the following line items: 0001: Service request to remove and dispose of old electrical requirements for four (4) condensor units and replace with new electrical requirements for the following new condensor units: ICE Kold Freezer Unit, Model Number HL0400L44, 208/230, 3 Phase for walk-in freezer. 1 Each ICE Kold Cooler Unit, Model Number HLH100H22, 208/230, 1 Phase for walk-in cooler. 2 Each ICE Kold Cooler Unit, Model Number HLH151H22, 208/230, 1 Phase for walk-in cooler. 1 Each Contractor will need to include with the units all new conductors, breakers, disconnects, branch circuit wiring, conduits, and other electrical supplies as needed to make the new condensor units operational. Each Unit will include defrost timer, liquid line filter with sight glass and weather proof cabinet. Contractor will provide crane and ladder needed for the removal and installation of the condensor units. 0002: Removal and Disposal of Existing Equipment Rack to include: Remove and dispose of Equipment Rack mounted on roof of Bldg 1454 and replace with new Equipment Rack. New Equipment Rack shall include metal cover panels for refrigeration line sets into roof area, copper fittings and copper refrigeration lines, expansion valves and freon for systems R404A and R22. *** A site visit will be conducted on Sep 4th at 0900 CST.
