- Pre-solicitation notice for the purchase of shipping crates: P/N: M2988 The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed priced Requirements type contract for one base year and one additional option year. Estimated quantity per year and period of performance is as follows: Base year6,500 EA6 October 2008 through 5 October 2009 1st Option Year 6,500 EA6 October 2009 through 6 October 2010 The FOB point is Letterkenny Army Depot (destination). This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. See numbered note 1. Solicitation W911N2-08-R-0160 date: O/A 29 August, Closing date: O/A 19 September 2008. The drawing for the crate will be released with the solicitation. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ on 29 August.
