- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake CA intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition, a four-month extension of the period of performance to contract N68936-04-D-0035 a Time and Materials, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for contractor engineering technical services to instruct and train Navy personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of the H-46 series helicopter for maintenance and upgrades. The object of the contractor support services is to elevate the technical skills and abilities of military personnel responsible for operation and maintenance of the systems identified, to the level of self-sufficiency. In order to perform these services, access to the technical database for the equipment in its current configuration and modification to current configurations are essential. This extension will be for an additional 4 months through 31 January, 2009. The modification will be issued to The Boeing Company, Route 291 & Stewart Ave, Ridley Park, OA 19078-1099. The Boeing Company is uniquely qualified as the original equipment manufacturer and holds proprietary data rights. A follow-on contract is in process and it is anticipated that the follow-on request for proposal will be synopsized in September 2008.
