- SOLE SOURCE SPECIAL NOTICE - The Air Force ISR Agency contracting branch at Lackland AFB, TX intends to award a purchase order to Bit 9 Inc, 10 Canal Park Ste 201, Cambridge, MA 02141 on a SOLE SOURCE BASIS. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and Other Than Full and Open Competition in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) (SOLE SOURCE ) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511210, Dollars: $25M. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18 (5 JUL 07). Place of Performance is 92 IOS/OSF, 402 Greig St, Bldg 179, San Antonio, Texas. The following provisions/clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-- Commercial Items (Mar 2007) (Deviation), FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies.
