- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While is it understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The NAICS Code is 334419, 500 employee size standard, and the Federal Supply Class is 3679. NOTE: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to purchase on a sole source basis from Times Microwave, 358 Hall Avenue, Wallingford, CT 06492, (140) each Phase Track II-500 35 feet Nm/Nm microwave cables. These specific cables, manufactured by Times Microwave, are needed for compatibility and functionality with current systems being used by NSWCDD. The required delivery schedule is 90 days after receipt of order, FOB Destination to Dahlgren, VA. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) by the NSWCDD, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110 and will be firm fixed price. All quotes must be submitted to DLGR_NSWC_XDS13@navy.mil or faxed to (540) 653-6810, ATTN: XDS13-17 no later than 29 August 2008. Reference Request for Quote N00178-08-Q-3732 on all correspondence. In order to be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
