Description

The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, Colorado, intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13, 28 Sep 06. The North American Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 334516 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Government has determined that Beckman Coulter, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the hematology analyzers. The requirement is to purchase 10, 900 tests per year for the LH-500 hematology analyzer and to purchase 5,500 tests per year for the AcT 5 hematology analyzer. There are no other brands compatible with the analyzers currently in use. All responsible sources may submit a response of technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim, which if timely received, will be considered by 21CONS/LGCB. Responses can be made via telephone, fax or email before 4 pm MST on the date specified. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. The Government will not pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
