- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) intends to procure the following items from Illumina 9885 Towne Centre Dr San Diego, CA 92121 to provide support for epigenetic research accomplished through the use of existing Genome Analyzers. The Institute intends to procure this service by other than full and open competition under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302.This equipment will involve the following parts C/N FC-204-2036 36 Cycle Sequencing Kit v2.0, C/N IP-102-1001 ChIP-Seq Sample Preparation Kit, C/N FC-102-1002 4 DNA Sample Kit (1002290) This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. However, if any other interested party believes that it can meet the requirements it may request a copy of the Request for Quotation. Offerors may request a copy of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) in writing or by FAX to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) NIHAA2008010 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipts of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is September 15, 2008. If you have any questions, please contact Nydia Sagna. PLEASE NOTE: In order to receive an award, contractor must be registered and have valid certification in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov
