- This posting is to satisfy the publication requirements for Brand Name Justifications and is for information purpose only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE. The Headquarters, Air Mobility Command (AMC), Directorate of Communication and Information, Wing-Local Area Network (LAN) program office (HQ AMC/A6XP), Scott AFB, IL, requires brand name synchronous optical network (SONET) equipment for use in Building 31 at Travis AFB, CA. The equipment will be delivered to Travis AFB, CA. The requirement identified the need for manufacturer specific equipment. General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service, Assisted Acquisition Services located at 1710 Corporate Crossing, Suite 3, O’Fallon, IL 62269, issued a RFQ to all the prime contractors on the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) IV Multiple Award IDIQ, Contract Classes A through D. The RFQ was issued on 22 August 2008 via the GSA Information Technology Solution (ITSS) procurement portal. The closing date for quotes is 27 August 2008. The instructions to offerors and bill of materials are only available to the prime NASA SEWP IV contractors via GSA ITSS.
