INR/EX/IS has identified the HP LaserJet 4700 dtn printers as key component of INR's high side networking system. Equipment listed in the PR is required to provide desktop printing capabilities for the users to print from the existing INRISS system based on printing services, security controls and critical protocols supported only by HP COMPAQ. As this is a brand name only justification, no one contractor's unique qualifications are cited as the basis for this justification. Rather, the products identified by brand name herin have been determined to be the only items that meet INR's requirements as a key component of the INRISS networking system for printing from the user's desktop.
