- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The USDA – Natural Resources Conservation Service is issuing solicitation number AG-6633-S-08-0009 request for quotation (RFQ) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside and the associated NAICS 441229 and small business size standard of $6.5M. This solicitation contains one contract line item number 001 and is for 18 each. When submitting your RFQ, please include a brochure on the trailer that you are quoting. The basic requirements for the Aluminum Utility Trailer are described below: Bed Length – 15’ – all Aluminum Floor Trailer Weight - approximately #1200 Axle Type - 3500# Torsion Deck Thickness – approximately 1 3/4” Aluminum Number of Axles - 2 Brakes – Electric on 1 Axle Jack - Standard Bed Width – 82” GVWR - approximately #5000 Tire Size – approximately ST205/75R14-C Range Loading Type – Full width Aluminum Ramps Coupler Type – 2” Ball NOTE: add 1 extra spare tire w/rim per trailer on quote The trailers shall be delivered no later than 30 days after receipt of award. Delivery is F.O.B Destination. 6 trailers will be delivered to each of the following locations: Dickinson, Jamestown, and Devils Lake, North Dakota. The Government will provide delivery addresses to the successful contractor. Offerors must specify warranty provided and must be consistent with customary commercial practices. CLAUSES INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors – Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. There are no addenda to this provision. 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items does not apply to this acquisition. 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items, the offeror will be required to complete this provision with their offer.
