- Description
- Canyonlands National Park, UTAH, has a requirement to up grade new Jeep Rubicons for back country use. The Park will deliver the vehicles within a 120 mile radius from Moab UT 84532. Beyond that the vendor will need to arrange for pickup and delivery of the vehicles and include the cost in the line item pricing. Procurement is to include parts and labor to install where noted in the line items. Vehicles are to be upgraded one at a time. The Park will pay on delivery of each completed up grade (including accessories not installed). The Solicitation will be issued on or about August 23, 2008. This is a commercial item buy. See the Solicitation for date and time proposals are due, it is estimated now to be September 12, 2008. The solicitation with specifications, and bid schedule will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the Request For Proposal package you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov, along with all attachments. This is a best value procurement. Questions should be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer, Bill Spigel, and may be sent via e-mail to bill_spigel@nps.gov. A contractor must be currently registered in the Central contractor Registion (www.ccr.gov) to receive an award.
