- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to obtain the non-personal service of musicians and clergy. The musicians will support five services of worship to include Catholic, Protestant Contemporary, Protestant Liturgical, Protestant Contemporary, and Protestant Gospel. The Clergy will support the Catholic and Jewish traditions. The Musicians and Clergy must meet requirements in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Required services are commercial in nature, therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items shall apply to this acquisition. The contractor shall be responsible for planning and organizing musical selections and be able to direct music and play the piano/organ/keyboard for establishes services of worship. Responsibilities also include working with volunteers and other musicians for special and holiday services. Clergy representatives will provide services for Jewish and Catholic personnel as required by the SOW. The contract performance period is from 29 SEP 2008 to 28 SEP 2009. North American Industrial Classification System Code 813110 and size standard of $7.0 million. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov approximately 27 August 2008. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http:/www.ccr.gov or by contacting CCR Customer Service at 1-888-227-2423. All offerors must submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at htt://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible Small Businesses may submit a proposal to be considered by the Mission and Contract Command-Fort Leavenworth. The anticipated contract award date is on 17 September 2008 with a performance start date of no later than 29 September 2008. Additionally, the Government will not reimburse any interest parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
