- Description
- The work includes mobilization (including site preparation) and installation of temporary pumping system (including discharge piping), and unwatering of the drainage district, followed by continued intermittent pumping to maintain drainage ditch water levels (if exercised by the Government), and demobilization. The pumping system shall consist of large 30 inch to 48 inch submersible hydraulic driven axial flow pumps with trailer or skid mounted diesel driven power units. The total pumping capacity requirement for pumping system shall be a minimum of 200,000 gallons per minute at 26.5 feet of total dynamic head. The Contractor will have 14 days to mobilize to the site, set up, and begin pumping operations. The contract may include an option for maintenance pumping of drainage ditches that could extend the contract by approximately 180 days. This contract will be awarded pursuant to the regulations and requirements of the Stafford Act. Additional information will be available in the solicitation, which will be available on or about August 28,2008.
