Description
This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial servicesprepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-03. The North American Industry Classification Code is 611710. All contractors conducting business with the federal government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Potential contractors may register at www.ccr.gov. DESCRIPTION: The Bureau of Indian Affairs Rocky Ridge Boarding School located in Kykotsmovi, AZ is in need of a comprehensive school reform program which will be performed on-site at the school, which is located in northeastern Arizona. The program is to emphasize active learning, character growth, integrated teamwork, reflection, and literacy. Staff development will focus on connecting high-quality academic learning to adventure service learning and interdisciplinary project-based learning expeditions. The contractor is required to use research-based methodologies which are proven to improve student academic achievement by changing school culture and making curriculum move active and motivating for students, which results in higher test scores and lower disciplinary problems. PRICE QUOTE: Offerors are requested to submit a price quote based on One (1) Training Program: $_________. Offerors are also requested to provide descriptive literature which describes in detail the training program that is being proposed. Please send price quotes and descriptive literature to: Bureau of Indian Affairs, Albuquerque Acquisition Office, Pete V. Domenici Office Building, 1001 Indian School Road, N.W., Suite 347, Albuquerque, NM 87107, Attention: Michael Perry, Contracting Officer. Responses may be hand-delivered, faxed to Mr. Perry at (505) 563-3030, or delivered via overnight carrier (e.g.-Federal Express, UPS, etc.) Deadline for receipt of price quotes and descriptive literature is 2 p.m. (MDST), Thursday, August 28, 2008. Please include your TAX ID Number, CAGE Number (obtain at www.ccr.gov) and DUNS Number when submitting your offer. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available.
