Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to issue a task order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00104-08-G-0301with Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. Raytheon is the sole developer/manufacturer of the AN/BYG-1(V)1 Combat Control System. As such, they are the only source who possesses the knowledge and expertise required to manufacture the I&C spare parts. The task order will be awarded on a Cost Plus Fixed Fee basis. Any interested party can submit an offer which will be considered. See Note 22. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
