- Description This announcement constitutes Solicitation Number FA4801-08-R-0015, which will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Anticipated award to be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. This acquisition is set aside for Small Business IAW FAR part 19.502-2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210. The small business size standard is $14M. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall retrofit existing fluorescent ceiling fixtures with more energy efficient components at Buildings 29 and 54 at Holloman AFB, NM. In addition, Building 54 shall have light controlling occupancy sensors throughout. Magnetic ballasts in existing fixtures shall be replaced with electronic ballasts. Any fixture with an electronic ballast shall have a 28 watt, F28T8 lamp installed. Incandescent reflector lamps shall be replaced with R30 reflector compact fluorescent lamps. Existing incandescent exist signs shall be retrofitted with an LED retrofit kit or replaced with an LED type exit sign. All specifications are included in the Statement of Work. PROJECT DETAILS: IAW FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Solicitation, which will include the site visit date, and other attachments will be posted on or about 26 August 2008 and MUST BE downloaded from FedBizOps at www.eps.gov; DO NOT REQUEST VIA MAIL OR FAX. IMPORTANT NOTICES: 1) RFP submission must be in accordance with solicitation. 2) You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the Central Contractor Registration Database. (Ref. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration). 3) All Amendments, if applicable, Must Be Acknowledged.
