- Questions: I was hoping you could answer a question for us, on this solicitation, do we need to include our techs for generator set up and startup? Or will the government be using their techs? And all they want is the equipment delivered. Answer: We just need the equipment delivered. We also want to know if there were any drawings with this solicitation? Answer: No Our Manufacture,(Caterpillar) said that we would have to go up to a larger kw size to reach that 4160 volt output, or have two 750kw with a transformer. Need clarification on it being parallel units. Answer: Generator shall be as specified, 4160 volt output. That applies for both generators. No transformers are required. The specifications ask for engine cooling remote cooler. Are or are not the radiators installed? Are they remotely located outside the units? Is start of required, or will the government provide the installation of these units? Answer: The radiators are remote and are not included in this contract. The installation will be made by the government upon delivery of the units.
