- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified contractors interested in providing offers for the refurbishment of the Industry, Victoria and Galveston, Texas VORTAC facility buildings work will consists of, but is not limited to, the repair of the Galveston (VHU) facility platform deck. The removal of existing vinyl siding and installation of 4x8 sheets of cement of the IDU VOR building at Industry and Victoria Texas. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications and drawings. 1. This project is now set aside for Small Business 2. Construction time is 35 calendar days 3. The NAICS code is 237990- ($31M) Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.4. Estimated Bid Range: $50,000 and $100,0005. The contractor is expected to perform at least 25% of the work using its own employees.6. Contractor must have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before award can be made. Contractors can register on-line at www.bpn.govThe Request for Offer Package is expected to ready to be available on or about August 26, 2008. Vendors must submit their request for this package no later than 3:00 P.M. (CST) on August 26, 2008.
