- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is for the purchase of a 2007-2008 Science Direct EBook Collection. A listing of the actual books in the collection is attached. This is an intention to Sole Source to limited sources. Delivery of these items are 3o days after receipt of order. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26 (12 June 2008) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20080812. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS Code is 51930 and size standard is 500 people. The type contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. A due date of offers will be 4:00 PM, Central Time, 12 Sept 08. Offers may be emailed to winifred.williams@brooks.af.mil or faxed to: 210-536-1918, ATTN: Winifred W. Williams and reference Purchase Request number F1J5AF8199A002. The 311th Human Systems Wing/PKBA, Brooks City-Base TX intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (c). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
