- AMENDMENT #1 to AFCEE ECOS09 INDUSTRY DAY IF YOU REGISTERED PRIOR TO THE POSTING OF AMENDMENT #1, YOU MUST RE-REGISTER. NOTE NEW LOCATION: Due to the overwhelming response and interest from our small business partners, the Government has had to move the ECOS09 Industry Day venue to the Sheraton Gunter Hotel, 205 E Houston Street, San Antonio TX 78205. The date for ECOS09 Industry Day conference has not changed and will remain on Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Registration is restricted to ECOS09 interested small businesses only with a limit of three (3) attendees per small business contractor, one of which must be the interested small business entity registrant. (Ex: one attendee small business entity plus two attendees subcontractors; two attendees small business entity plus one attendee subcontractor; three attendees small business entity; etc.) Sheraton Gunter Hotel information is posted on the ECOS09 Industry Day website. Visit the ECOS09 website at http://www.afcee.brooks.af.mil/pkv/ecos09/industryday/ for conference registration, hotel registration, agenda, slides and other pertinent information. Hotel reservations can still be made at the Valencia Hotel, located on the Riverwalk, which is in walking distance to the Sheraton Gunter Hotel. AFCEE has reserved 65 sleeping rooms for Monday, September 15, 2008, and 25 sleeping rooms for Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Make your reservations by August 29, 2008 to receive a special group rate of $112/night (per diem rate). Reservations can be made by dialing the hotel directly at 866-842-0100 and by using the group code GRPECOS09. Small business contractors must register/re-register through the ECOS09 website to attend Industry Day no later than September 9, 2008 at https://www.afceeprivweb.brooks.af.mil/pkv/ecos09/default.asp.
