The EGW Pump package stores EGW fluid in a pressurized reservoir and supplies the fluid to the pump at a set pressure and volume. The EGW fluid is routed through the avionics racks and the load HX. Heat in the avionics racks is absorbed by cooled EGW fluid flowing through the rack. The heated EGW fluid is routed through the load HX and is recooled by cold air supplied by the equipment air cycle pack. The recooled EWG fluid is recycled to the avionics rack to repeat the process. Length 14, Width 12.5, Depth 8, Weight 27.5 pounds. L/I 0001 - minimum of 1 each with a maximum of 2 Required Delivery - September 30, 2009 •9. Mandatory Language: The 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission decision to realign/consolidate the procurement management and other related support functions from the components to the Defense Logistics Agency, has been implemented at Tinker AFB in June 2008. As a result, the contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded by the DLA Detachment at Tinker AFB. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposal or in the source selection process.
