- Under the authority of FAR 13.5, the U.S. Army, REDCOM, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis to NEC Unified Solutions, Inc. 6555 N. State Highway 161, Irving Texas 75039-2402. This is for the purchase of 1 Cisco Systems 6500 series Distribution Switch, 3750 series Access Layer Switches, 11xx or 12xx Wireless Access Points and Cisco WiSM Wireless Controllers. The interface requirements that are consistent with current networking standards require the use of the items listed above. The existing wireless and hardwired data network system is CISCO product and is covered under a pre-negotiated Cisco warranty.
