- RFI RESPONSES : UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE PLEASE EMAIL LAURIE WALKER at laurie.f.walker@uscg.mil FOR COPIES OF RFI RESPONSES ONE THRU FOUR. SEE ATTACHED PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required for Crawl Space Repairs & Roof Replacement at U.S. Coast Guard Station Portage Housing Units, Dollar Bay, Michigan. Major work items include: Remove existing shingles and felt paper, advise on roof decking in need of repair, prepare the roof decking to receive new Architectural Fiberglass Shingle roofing, provide ice and water shield at eves and valleys, provide new flashing and metal drip edge, provide continuous shingle over Ridge-Vent, remove all debris materials from crawl space, rake and level soil and prepare ground to receive new moisture barrier and mud slab, install 2” thick rigid insulation board, 2” thick foil faced rigid insulation, provide thermo-couple dampers, replace existing plastic water supply lines with copper lines, replace existing supply and return ductwork, provide new electrical circuits from existing panels for the new heaters. The NAICS for this project is 238160 with a Small Business Size Standard of $13.0M. Vendors interested in performing this requirement are invited to provide the following information to USCG CEU Cleveland no later than July 8, 2008. The information may be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist at laurie.f.walker@uscg.mil or faxed to 216-902-6278. Responses shall include the following information: Reference number HSCG83-08-B-3WT256, Company name, DUNS Number, address, point of contact, phone number and email address; business size, disadvantage, 8(a), or HUBzone status; and, Evidence that the contractor has performed similar projects (past performance history). NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS. When available, the resultant pre-solicitation notice and solicitation will be posted at this website. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a) or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
