- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to negotiate on a limited basis with General Dynamics Information Technology, 1545 Crossways Blvd., Suite A, Chesapeake, VA 23320 and AMSEC LLC, 2829 Guardian Lane, Virginia Beach, VA 23452 to modify contracts N65540-02-D-0041 and N65540-02-D-0042. Contracts N65540-02-D-0041 and N65540-02-D-0042 were awarded based on full and open competition with awards being made to two offerors. The purpose of the modification is to extend the ordering and performance periods in order to bridge the gap and continue blue collar support until the follow-on contract can be awarded on the basis of full and open competition. All other terms and conditions of the existing contracts will remain unchanged. The modification to the existing contracts will utilize other than full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), supplies or services available from only on responsible source or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supply will satisfy agency requirements. Numbered notes 22 applies.
