- The 36th Contracting Squadron at Andersen AFB, Guam intends to award a purchase order for Material Handling Equipment Maintenance. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for maintenance services. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This solicitation is in accordance with FAR Part 19. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811310, size standard $6.5M. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set aside. POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION WEBSITE (http://www.ccr.gov) and have their Representation and Certifications filed under the new ORCA database (http://www.bpn.gov). If Representation and Certifications are not in the ORCA website then Representation and Certifications, FAR 52.212-3, must be accomplished and submitted with quote to be eligible for award. The contractor shall provide the following services: Perform scheduled maintenance for two (2) Taylor 65K Forklifts: Taylor Big Reds Model: TE-650L; Serial Numbers: S-W7-30775, S-W7-30619. There will be a total of 4 routine maintenace jobs done on the two Taylor Forklifts (2 per forklift). Maintenance shall be performed every 180 days and no later than 180 days. Perform maintenance to include replacement of engine oil, engine oil filter(s), fuel filter(s), coolant filter(s), lubricate chassis, adjust brakes, replace air filter(s) and disposal cost of used oil and filters, service battery, check fluid levels, check and report any air leaks, check and report any oil or fluid leaks, inspect steering components, check gauges for proper operation, check lighting system for defects. Tires shall be checked during every 180 routine maintenance check, however replacement shall not take place without prior approval from the 36th Munitions Squadron here at Andersen AFB, Guam. Replace tires with Marshal 16x25 tiresl. Maintenance can be completed either in an uncovered area here at Andersen AFB, Guam or can be performed at contractor's facility. If the Contractor chooses to transport the forklift to his facility the Contractor will provide transportation of forklifts between the contractor's facility and the 36 Munitions Squadron, Andersen AFB, Guam. Perform scheduled maintenance for one (1) Fantuzzi 90K Reach Stacker Forklift: Model: C245KM; Serial Number: 500950; Manufacture Year: 2002. Perform maintenance to include changing of engine oil, engine oil filter(s), fuel filter(s), coolant filter(s), lubricate chassis, adjust brakes, replace air filter(s) and disposal cost of used oil and filters, service battery, check fluid levels, check and report any air leaks, check and report any oil or fluid leaks, inspect steering components, check gauges for proper operation, check lighting system for defects. Tires shall be checked during every 180 routine maintenance check, however replacement shall not take place without prior approval from the 36th Munitions Squadron here at Andersen AFB, Guam. Replace tires with 18x25 Galaxy Tiresl. Maintenance can be completed either in an uncovered area here at Andersen AFB, Guam or can be performed at contractor's facility. If the Contractor chooses to transport the forklift to his facility the Contractor will provide transportation of forklifts between the contractor's facility and the 36 Munitions Squadron, Andersen AFB, Guam. Provide non-scheduled maintenance on all three of the forklifts (2 Taylors and 1 Fantuzzi). The total amount of unscheduled maintenance is written as a lump sum. Any unscheduled maintenance to include tire changing shall be invoiced against this CLIN (CLIN 0003). All non-scheduled maintenance must be approved prior to performance through 36 Munitions Squadron. Maintenance can be completed either in an uncovered area here at Andersen AFB, Guam or can be performed at contractor's facility. If the Contractor chooses to transport the forklift or any other equipment to his facility the Contractor will provide transportation of forklifts and any other equipment between the contractor's facility and the 36 Munitions Squadron, Andersen AFB, Guam. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government.
