Description: AK PRA DENA 10(32), Riprap Placement at Toklat Rest Stop, Denali National Park, Denali Borough, Alaska. This project consists of 0.171 miles of excavation of existing streambed material along existing sheetpile wall and installing approximately 900 lnft of class 4 riprap revetment along with 5 class 6 riprap barbs. Also, stockpiling of an additional 100 cuyd of class 6 riprap to be used for future barb repairs and other small items of work. Site visits must be scheduled with the National Park Service. This site is open to prospective bidders until September 19, 2008. See attached Notice to Bidders for details. See attached call for HUBZone interest. This project is anticipated to be solicited March 2009 This project will include 3 bid schedules. There will be three alternate schedules. Only one schedule will be awarded. Fixed completion dates are as follows: (Schedule A – July 13, 2009) (Schedule B – July 23, 2009) (Schedule C – August 4, 2009) Estimated PRICE RANGE is between $500,000 and $1 million. PRELIMINARY PLANS and a letter with additional project information are in electronic format only and are posted with this synopsis. When solicitation documents are issued, the INVITATION FOR BIDS/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (specifications and plans) will be posted at this link.
