- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to award on a Sole Source basis a Firm Fixed purchase order to Real-Time Innovations, Incorporated, 385 Moffett Park Drive, Suite 115, Sunnyvale, CA 94089-1218 for the procurement of two year software maintenance support/updates for existing licenses of Network Data Distribution Service (Part No. 100-30-01-00 and Part No. 100-30-40-00). The required proprietary software listed above is exclusively manufactured by Real-Time Innovations. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 511210 with a $23M threshold. The order shall be a firm fixed price purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS THE ITEM IS IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. FOB destination shall apply. The closing date of this synopsis is 2 September 2008. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/SUPPLY. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
