The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Bennettsville, South Carolina, intends to issue solicitation RFQ-31703-0003 for the requirements of Food Services' 1 st Quarter Subsistence (Canned beans, vegetables, dry cereal, cheddar cheese, salad dressing, margarine, mustard, peanut butter, taco shells, rice, spices, KOSHER and SOY TEXTURED PROTEIN products). This solicitation is unrestricted, FOB Destination, and delivery is required by October 17, 2008 to the Federal Correctional Institution, Food Services Warehouse, 696 Muckerman Road, Bennettsville, South Carolina 29512. The contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price. The Government Reserves the Right to award Item by Item, by Group of Items in the Aggregate, All or None, whichever is the most advantageous to the Government. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered equally. The solicitation will be available on or after August 28, 2008, and will be distributed solely through the General Service's Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Quotes will be due September 19, 2008. The Government reserves the right to make payment using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
