- Notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center (FMC), Butner, North Carolina intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Varian Medical System, Marietta, Ga. This announcement constitutes the only notice of intent. A written notice will not be issued. The FMC intends to procure a service contract to maintain the Aria and Eclipse hardware and software manufactured by Varian Medical System. This system has proprietary software and hardware that only the manufacturer can supply.
