Description
It is the intent of General Services Administration to synopsis/solicit REQUEST FOR QUOTES, for award of a construction purchase order to remove, dispose and install new carpet runner (Government Furnished Carpet & Pad) on the 3rd floor at 25 South 3rd Street, Facility in Yakima WA. The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code is 236220. The Solicitation and Scope of Work is attached to this notice. Work associated with this request is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act and the U.S. Department of Labor, General Wage Decision No. WA080013, dated 07/04/2008 (WA13). A copy of this decision is within the solicitation. Anticipate a site visit at the project location on Wednesday, 10 September 2008 at 2:00 p.m. (PST). Interested offerors should contact Mr. Craig Frantz at the site address. Attending the site visit prior to bidding is highly encouraged. Order of Magnitude for this construction project is less than $25,000.00. Performance period is 30 days after receipt of notice to proceed. Security restrictions apply, see Section H of the Solicitation Schedule. Award selection will be made based on price and price related factors; however, your price offer shall be developed and presented to the Government in sufficient detail for the Contracting Officer to determine reasonableness in comparison to the Government’s price estimate. The details should include a breakdown for direct cost/price including material, labor, equipment, insurance; and indirect cost/price including overhead and profit. Significant subcontracting shall be broken out in the same manner. It is the Government's intent to award to the lowest price responsible, responsive (Small Business) offeror without negotiations; however, the Government reserves the right to negotiate with offerors within a negotiable range. This procurement is being set-aside 100% for Small Business Concerns - all responsive, responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. No bonds are required. The solicitation #GS-10P-08-XC-C-0097 has been issued. Site Visit is scheduled for Wednesday, 10 September 2008 at 2:00 p.m. (PST). Offers are due on Friday, 19 September 2008 by 4:30 p.m. (PST). Anticipated date of award is not later than 26 September 2008. To be eligible for award, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://wwww.ccr.gov. Specification and detailed requirements will be furnished with the solicitation to all interested parties by mail or email.
