Description

The National Institute Of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to procure on a sole source basis and under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), with H D Science Limited, 242 N James St., Suite 202, Newport, DE. 19804, for Analysis of plant tissue extracts by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. H D Science Limited is the only company that can integrate highly trained professionals in AMDIS. They are experts in gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (LS/MS) methods with a good experience on working on Thermo Agilent instruments. No other company has the proprietary knowledge or capability to provide the services. A solicitation package will not be issued. This notice of intent is not a request For competitive quotations; however the government will consider other responses received by: August 28, 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
