- Description
- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-08-RP-0205 for the following service: The contractor shall be required to perform (R2) reverse inscriptions at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, South Dakota, within twenty (20) calendar days following the date the order was issued. The contractor shall be responsible for the reverse inscriptions at the gravesite without the headstone being removed from the grave. Potential offerors shall submit, at contractor expense, one marble inscription sample representative of the work to be done, the sample should be in accordance with the specifications listed in the solicitation. This sample should be received and approved prior to the closing date of the solicitation. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical Qualifications, and 3) Price. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about August 28, 2008. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about 2:00 p.m., September 10, 2008. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. See Numbered Note 29.
