This announcement constitutes a Request for Quotation; proposals are being requested. Solicitation number 2008-Q-10799 is issued as a request for quotation. Funds are currently available. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking potential offerors who have the capabilities of procuring Cisco Port Switches. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334111. The business size standard is 1000 employees. The product with the lowest cost that meets all of the specifications and quality requirement will be procured. The type of equipment/supplies required is listed as: 1. WS-C3560G-24TS-S 19 Each Catalyst 3560 24 10/100/1000T + 4 SFP + IPB 2. CAB- AC 19 Each Power Cord 100V 3. CON-SNT- C3560GTS 19 Each 24 PORT SWITCH SMARTNET 8X5XNBD CAT 3560 48 10/100 4. GLC-SX-MM 19 Each GE SFP, LC Connector SX Transceiver Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award and must be certified by Cisco Systems Inc. as qualified to resell and warranty the equipment listed in this RFQ. The Clause at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition along with 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items. Except for the Pass/Fail criteria of being a certified Cisco reseller, price will be the only evaluation factor. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items and the clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, apply to this acquisition.
