Description

The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking applications (Optional Form 612 only) from qualified U.S. citizens to provide personal services under a personal services contract as a Food for Peace Officer. The PSC will actively oversee and monitor P.L. 480 Title II emergency food aid assistance activities and programs in the DPRK. She/He will routinely report back to USAID regarding progress and issues associated with program start-up and operation. The contractor will spend the majority of his/her time overseeing and monitoring Title II emergency programs in the DPRK. The incumbent must exercise considerable judgment in determining if all parties are in adherence to both the protocol and the LOUs. Given the unique conditions under which programs are to be implemented, the contractor is expected to be diligent and persistent in her/his monitoring and lines of inquiry
