Description

This is a “Notice of Intent” to Sole Source, reference number HQ002882268600, for commercial items prepared in accordance with Acquisition Memorandum dated 17 APR 2006, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. FAR 52.212-1(a) (Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items) (JAN 2005): NAICS 519110 ; Standard $7 millon. Note that para (k) requires quoter to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at time order is issued and throughout performance. The government intends to award a Sole Source contract to “CBS Newspath” for the following: CLIN 0001: Contractor to provide access to all CBS Hard News Material. All Newspath National News Feeds and all Special Feeds coming into the CBS Washington Bureau. FOB Destination. This “Notice of Intent” is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government to compete this solicitation will be based upon responses to this notice at the sole discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be submitted within the close of the publication of this notice TO BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 2:00 PM PACIFIC TIME 10 SEPTEMBER 2008 IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. Due to technical issues, responses by email and fax may result in your proposal not arriving before the cut-off time, please allow extra time if you’re sending your responses via electronic means.
