Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format is FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This annoucement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The associated NAICS for this procurement is 334519. NAVOCEANO has a requirement for Seven (7) RADAR Water Level Sensors. The salient characteristics of Riverine RADAR Water Level Sensor: Requirement: Open air, Non-contact RADAR water level measurement in open flow riverine environment. Characteristics: - Completely solar powered with no external power sources required. - Solar panel must be small, easily installed, inconspicuous and able to withstand harsh environments. - Completely contained and waterproof, enclosed antenna and peripherals for use in harsh environments to mitigate damage and degradation of operation by insect infestation. - Adaptable and flexible mounting options for all components. - Light, small footprint, compact system for easy installation and inconspicuous nature once installed. - Measuring range of 1-30 meters. - Accuracy of +/- 5mm - Autonomous operation with only semi-annual maintenance. - Iridium satellite communications required. - Small antenna with no antenna mast required. - Transmitted reports must be plain text with no analysis software required. - Configurable and flexible reporting periodicity with 30 minute reporting being the most frequent. - Configurable and flexible reporting for system health reporting with daily report being the most frequent. - System must have a successful history of use and currently be in use in the riverine environment with no further testing or development required. All firms or individual responding must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offers will be evaluated on best value in relation to price.
