- 28 - SPARES OC-ALC/DSCR/ZBAC DLR PROCUREMENTS OPS 3001 STAFF DR STE 2AC1/109B TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032.F100 SHROUD SEGMENT, TURBINE SOL SPRTA1-08-Q-0079Item 0001NSN:2840-01-357-5078 NZ, P/N:4080381-01.Item Description: DIM: 8 IN X 1 IN; MATERIAL: NICKEL ALLOY; FUNCTION - A SEGMENT OF A COMPLETE RING WITH HONEYCOMB MATERIAL WHICH SEALS AIR BETWEEN COMPRESSOR STAGES ON THE 229 ENGINE. FMS REQUIREMENTApplicable to: F100-229 EngineDelivery:On or Before 29 May 2009 Quantity: 8 ea New Material Solicited. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 11 September 2008.The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 26 September 2008.The anticipated award date will be 31 October 2008.No telephone requests. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be sent from this office. The solicitation will be available for download only at www.fbo.gov.Questions concerning this synopsis or subsequent solicitation can be directed to Yalonda Parker at (405) 734-8119, fax (405) 734-8129, or email yalonda.parker@dla.mil All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. It is anticipated that this requirement is sole-source to United Technologies since they are considered the only current approved source. Non-approved sources wishing to submit a bid may do so; however, only qualified sources will be considered for award. First Articles may be required from newly approved sources. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award.Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1.EXPORT CONTROL ITEMS: Foreign owned firms are advised to contact the Contracting Officer or Program Manager before submitting a proposal to determine whether there are restrictions on receiving an award.Note:While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note:An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern.
