Innovations Associates is the sole provider of the PharmASSIST Automated dispensing system, which is already in place at the PharmaCARE Center, and has become the standard for pharmacy throughout the Air Force. This technology meets our specific pharmacy needs and will make our automated systems more uniform at MacDill AFB/Brandon Clinc Pharmacy. This contractor is the only known source that can meet the needs of the pharmacy. Award of a contract for the PharmASSIST system will be awarded to Innovation Associates, unless additional source can be identified through this notice. The use of any other dispensing systems would pose communication, connectivity and security issues as the equipment has to be compatible with the existing equipment. Total replacement of the pharmacy system is not cost effective for the government. 3. Market research was conducted for the PharmASSIST system. Innovation is the only contractor found able to provide the product/service required. If no response to this notice is received by 3:00pm EST on Thursday, September 4, 2008, the award will be made to Innovation Associates.
