- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure software to support the 501st MI Army Divisions requirement for SOCET GXP Software Licenses and Maintenance as follows: 0001: SOCET GXP PN 931-L Qty: 8 0002: SOCET GXP UE PN 931-UE Qty: 8 0003: SOCET GXP US PN 962-L Qty: 8 0004: SOCET GXP SEE US PN 962-UE Qty: 8 by the HQ USAINSCOM, Directorate of Contracting, ATTN: IAPC-DOC, 8825 Beulah Street, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-5246. The NAICS Code for this effort is 511210. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above products and services to the firm of BAE Systems National Security Solutions; 11487 Sunset Hills Rd.; Reston, VA 20190. The Proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. DURATION: Delivery of the product/service shall be no later than 8 September 2008. All quotations received within 2 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
