Description
SUBJECT: RENEWAL SUBSCRIPTION TO THE IIR REFINERY PROFILE DATABASE(1 YEAR) The U.S. Department of Energys, National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), Pittsburgh, PA (To be delivered to our site located in Morgantown, WV) intends to award, a purchase order on a sole-source basis to INDUSTRIAL INFORMATIONAL RESOURCE (IIR), HOUTON, TX to renew the subscription for the following: 12-month (September 2008 to Aug 2009) subscription for 7 seats to the IIR Petro Cast with Premium Industry Alerts. Service will also include 1) access to Installed Refining Capacity Database for process areas and process units; 2) Refining Unit Turnaround Tracking Database, providing information on turnarounds at major operational units and daily updates for schedule changes and new turnaround as they occur; 3) database of status of future petroleum refining projects; and 4) Refinery Unit Turnaround Tracking Daily Report which includes as listing of refining unit turnarounds scheduled over the next 180 days provided via email. Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13 will be used. This notice is for information purposes only. This request is considered to be sole source to INDUSTRIAL INFORMATIONAL RESOURCE (IIR), HOUSTON TX. Therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors shall provide sufficient technical literature, documents, etc., in order for the Government evaluation team to make an adequate technical assessment of the quote as meeting technical acceptability. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. A Firm Fixed Priced Purchase Order shall be issued using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification (NAIC) is 511120.All interested firms must respond to DE-RQ26-08NT000965 by 05:30 p.m. EST, September 15, 2008.
