- ***SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS*** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number is F4A3087214A010; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12 and Defense DCN 20060814. This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333993. The business size standard is 500 employees. This request for quotation consists of the following items, -or equal-: If submitting an -or equal- product, please supply manufacturer name and part number, and specifications if available. If equal, vendor must provide information with quote proving the equality of the items. Technical acceptability of or equal products shall be determined by the government. All quotes must reflect FOB Destination. IAW provision 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, the following methods of evaluation will be used in order of importance: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and price. Line Items to include: ITEM 0001: Vaccum Aided Mobility Packing system (VAMPS) Model #UV2100ML or equal to. To include base model and spare parts kit. 12" deep chamber, non-welded single mold die-cast aluminum body. Ten HP Bush pump digital control system. Parameter lockout and pre-program package. Wide band seal bar, anti-wrinkle hold down bars. Air compressor seal assist system. LBH knife system-military only. Caster assembly or metal transport pallet station. Operation/maintenance video/CD. Herculite storage cover. Worldwide voltage capabilities (3 Phase only). On-Site training session. Spare parts Kit to include: seal bar (10mm) complete-1. Back-upstrip-10ft. Lid gasket-12ft. Vacuum pump oil (10 weight cold or 30 weight-standard) 2 gallon. Asco valve rebuild kit. DIN Coil. Teflon tape-108ft. Seal elements-5. power fuse-1. 20 AMP fuse-1. LBH knife back-up strip. Cut-off blade. Quantity 1 EA. ITEM 0002: Small Arms Packaging System (SAPS) model #860416 or equal to. Enables M16A2 to be vaccum sealed to prevent rust and corrosion. Quantity 1 EA. ITEM 0003:VAMPS BAGS 25" X 42" 7mil Part Number 910000 or equal to. Used for sleeping bags, mobility bags (outer wrap). Price per case with 100 in each case. Quantity 12 CASES. ITEM 0004: VAMPS BAGS 24" X 36" 5mil Part number 910002 or equal to. Used for interior components, mess kit, boots fabric materials. Price per case with 250 per case.Quantity 2 CASES. ITEM 0005: VAMPS BAGS 22" X 24" 5mil Part Number 910003 or equal to. Used for interior components. Price per case with 250 per case. Quantity 2 CASES. ITEM 0006: VAMPS BAGS 12" X 24" 5mil Part number 9100004 or equal to. Used for life support, smaller items. Price per case with 500 per case. Quantity 1 CASE. ITEM 0007: Small Arms Packaging System (SAPS) replacement muzzle caps model # 860430 or equal to. Quantity 23 KITS. ITEM 0008: Small Arms Packaging System (SAPS) 12" x 49" 7MIL Part number 910006 or equal to. Price per case with 100 per case. Quantity 7 CASES. Additional notes: contractors are asked to submit their tax identification number and estimated delivery timeframe with their proposal. FOB Destination must be reflected in the quote.
