- Under the authority of FAR 13.5, the U.S. Army, REDCOM, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate a purchase order on a sole source basis to Rockwell Collins Optronics, Inc., 2752 Loker Ave W, Carlsbad, CA 92010. Rockwell Collins Optronics designed the SFPs and is the only company that can repair the product at a reasonable cost because they understand the mechanical, electrical and optical layout of these highly complex technical systems. This is for the services of Repairing and Refurbishing 7 EBAPS sensors: 1 SN LV201 - Includes: System Pre-Test, and correct gain setting performance, 1 SN LV202 - Includes: System Pre-Test, HMD refurbishment and best effort Intevac sensor calibration to compensate for burn spot damage to FPA, 1 - SN LV203 - Includes: System Pre-Test and HMD refurbishment, 1 Scope Intibation (LF-V), (1) Flex Video (LF-DP w/SRC (1) #LF-V, and 1 SN LV204 - Includes: System Pre-Test, HMD refurbishment, LWIR repair, best effort Intevac sensor calibration to compensate for burn spot damage to FPA and correct gain setting performance, 1 SN LV205 - Includes: System Pre-Test, HMD Refurbishment and best effort Intevac sensor calibration to compensate for burn spot damage to FPA, 1 SNs LV206 & LV207 - Includes: Initial evaluation and test, and 1 3 day test session conducted with the customer at Rockwell Collins Optronics and a local remote desert location. This purchase is for the repair and testing of seven Sensor Fusion Packages designed and developed under the Future Force Warrior Program for the TSPID directorate.
