- The Syracuse Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY, 13210, is conducting market research to determine the capabilities of all businesses (large and small) interested in the opportunity described below. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT COMMITTED TO AWARD A CONTRACT PURSUANT TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME AND REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATION PACKAGES WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The applicable NAICS code is 811219 and the Size Standard is $6.5 mil. Responses will assist the Syracuse VAMC in determining whether to set-aside, restrict competition in some way, or solicit offers from all responsible sources; however, all size organizations are encouraged to respond. This Market Research is to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capability, and experience to provide maintenance, preventative maintenance, and emergency maintenance for our Government Owned BCMA (Bar Code Medication Administration) Medication Carts, throughout VISN 2, including, but not limited to the Albany VA Medical Center,113 Holland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208, Bath VA Medical Center, 76 Veterans Avenue, Bath, NY, 14810, Buffalo VA Medical Center, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY, 14215, Canandaigua VA Medical Center, 400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua, NY 14424, and the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY, 13210. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. This notice is for information only, and all responses must be received on or before September 16th 2008, at 1400 hrs, 2:00 p.m., EDT. All responses MUST be submitted electronically to the Contracting Officer. Respondents shall also provide its Commercial and Government Entity code, DUNS number, and Tax Identification number. As of October 1, 2003, all Contractors, both large and small, are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award. Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of information added to CCR. To register, go to http://www.ccr.gov/. The Federal Contractor Program requires that any contractor receiving a contract from the Federal Government in the amount of $25,000 or more, or any subcontractor receiving a contract in the amount of $25,000 or more from such a covered contractor must file a VETS-100 Report on an annual basis. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of future solicitations.
