Description
This amendment to the solicitation replaces Drawing, Sheet No. 3, and adds clauses for the Las Trampas Creek Emergency Watershed Project, construction of approximately 70 linear feet of a vegetated concrete block wall approximately 10 feet high and approximately 33 linear feet of loose rock riprap with woody cuttings and supplementary work needed for protection of the existing stream bank located in Walnut Creek, Contra Costa County, California.” Major items of work are Mobilization, lump sum; Pollution Control, lump sum; Removal of Water, lump sum; Reinforced Concrete 13.3 CY; Rock Riprap, 45 TONS; Vegetated Block Wall, 585 EA. This work is to be completed within 30 calendar days. There is no set-aside for this project, advertisement is full and open competition. NAICS code is 237990 and small business size standard is $31 million. Site visit is scheduled for 9/4/08 at 10:00 a.m. meeting at 20 Hilton Court, Walnut Creek, CA. Directions to the site are head west on I-80 to I-680 South, 25.2 miles to Olympic Blvd. Exit, 0.4 miles to right on Bridgefield Rd., 177 feet to left at Freeman Rd., 0.2 miles to right at Hilton Court. Offers are due 9/9/08, 3:00 pm local time at the Davis, CA office. The site contains steep banks with shallow, flowing water within the creek. A limited inspection of the site from the top of the existing gabion basket wall is possible. Wading within the creek is also possible. The solicitation documents will be made available via FebBizOpps website approximately 8/28/08.
