- Description
- General Services Administration is interested in leasing approximately 81,813 rentable square feet of space to produce between 71,000 and 75,000 usable square feet of office space, along with 35 secure parking spaces, 54 designated parking spaces, and 15 visitor parking spaces. Sufficient parking must be commercially available within 3 blocks to accommodate 176 employees. The space is needed to house Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Space must be located on the south side of Albuquerque, New Mexico with easy access to the airport and to major freeways. The space is required for a term of 20 years, 10 years firm. The space shall be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, professional surroundings; or in an office, research, technology or business park with a campus-like atmosphere; or on an attractively landscaped site containing one or more modern office buildings that are professional in appearance. The space, when occupied, shall comply with requirements for Interagency Security Committee Level IV and shall meet the requirements of LEED-NC (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for New Construction) Silver level (minimum). The space shall have a sallyport of sufficient size to accommodate two buses or six vans.
