- Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quote No. R6-08-186; proposal due date is August 22, 2008 close of business (4:00 PM). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 26, effective as of 06/12/08. This solicitation is restricted to small businesses. The applicable NAICS code is 115310 with a size standard of less than $6.5 million. The solicitation is a Request for Quotation. (RFQ) This project consists of restoration of new side channels and maintenance activities to side channels of the Salmon River on land managed by the Mt Hood National Forest. Duties include flying logs and trees with root wads into and placing in side channels along the Salmon River. A heavy lift helicopter to perform the work will be required. For description of requirements see the attached 1449 form (RFQ). The delivery date will be within 10 days of award and the delivery point will be the Upper Salmon River in places indicated on maps provided and written directions. Provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items Evaluation will be make with respect to price, past performance, technical performance and timeliness. When sending in quote contractor must provide completed copy of provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders –Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
