- Description
- The Harry S. Truman Project Office, US Army Corps of Engineers, Warsaw, MO has a requirement for Refuse Collection and Disposal Services. The solicitation shall be for a Firm Fixed Price contract, with a base contract period plus four option periods. The base contract period shall be from 01 October 2008 through 30 September 2009. The annual Period of Performance for the option periods are 01 October through 30 September of each year. The solicitation will consist of 3 Sectors that are geographically separated. Contractors are not required to bid on all sectors, but shall bid on all corresponding option years for any sector they wish to bid. In accordance with FAR 52.214-22, an award may be made to one or more Contractors. The standard industrial code is 0782. The NAICS code is 562111. This will be a 100% Small Business set-aside acquisition. Bids will be accepted from all interested responsible and responsive parties. In accordance with FAR Part 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999), the Contracting Officer will evaluate responsive and responsible offers on the basis of best value to the Government. In addition to using pricing as a determining factor, an evaluation of the contractors related past performance and experience shall be considered. The Contractor shall furnish all manpower, equipment, tools, supervision and all necessary items required to provide the required services. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The solicitation will be posted on or about 25 August 2008. When it is posted, it will be accessible from the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Web Site: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ or the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site: https://www.fbo.gov or https://FedBizOpps.gov There will be no printed hard copies or CD-ROM Disks provided by the agency. REQUIRED CCR REGISTRATION: Prior to quoting, vendors must be actively registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) system, including creation of an MPIN number.. Registration Instructions and information may be obtained from the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Web Site: http://www.ccr.gov By submission of a quote, a quoter acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the CCR database prior to award; during performance; and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation.
