Description

This is a notice of the Government's intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Advanced Diagnostics Imaging, P.C. to provide VA credentialed Interventional Radiologist(s) on a per procedure basis to support demand at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Nashville Campus. The proposed sole source contract to Advanced Diagnostics Imaging, P.C., 3024 Goodletsville, TN 37070 is expected to be for an initial period of six months with one six month renewal option. The proposed services are being pursued under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (2) Unusual and Compelling Urgency. Advanced Diagnostics is the only known source with VA credentialed Radiologists capable of providing an immediately available resource pool of interventional radiologists to serve on-call, on a per procedure basis at the VA TVHS Nashville Campus while the Human Resources department continues to search for qualified interventional radiologist candidates to staff in-house. This is not a request for competitive quotation. This notice is not a Request for Proposals (RFP), nor a request for competition. However, if any interested party believes it can perform the above requirement, written responses to this synopsis must contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered Note 22.
