Description
The following questions were asked during the site visit, and are being posted here along with their answers. 1) Does the transformer station stay or need to be replaced? The transformer station needs to be removed, and the new Gorman Rupp system includes one. 2) Are the Civil drawings available for Facility 901? Please find attached a copy of the drawings provided by our Engineers. 3) Are the Gorman Rupp Specs and dealer contact info available? Gorman Rupp Duplex Lift Station Specs: - (2) Model JS4J60-E27, 4" submersible non clog pump, 27HP, 1750 RPM, 230V/3 60 electric motor with 30' cable. - (1) Aluminum access door with integral static well vent - (2) 6" swing check valves with individual 4" plug valves and 4 connection piping - Fiberglass enclosure with access doors, encapsulated concrete base and ventilation fan. - (2) Guide Rail Assembly for a 25' sump depth to include: * 4" base elbow with guide pump shoe * Upper guide rail mounting brackets * Stainless steel lifting cable - EPS 2000, electronic pressure switch to include: * Air bubbler level control with (2) air pumps with selector switch, air flow indicator, and air bell. * Pump start delays * 4-20mA level signal - (1) Duplex control panel to include: * NEMA 1 stainless steel enclosure * High water alarm circuit with dry contacts * Low water alarm circuit with pump shutdown and dry contacts * Moisture/Thermal shutdown with indicator and dry contacts Dealer Contact Info: Pump Systems Ms. Laura Lucero 480 545-8484 WHEN CALLING STATE THAT YOU ARE PURCHASING FOR A LUKE AFB PROJECT TO RECEIVE EXACT PRICING. 4) Are there Storm Water Pollution Prevention (SWPP) requirements? No 5) Is the generator part of the system; and if so does it need replaced or does it stay and get tied into the new system? The generator is part of the system but will not be replaced. It is already tied in with the power to the current system through conduit running in a pipe up to the current control box. It will be necessary to disconnect and reconnect the conduit in order to get power to the new system. 6) Will the wet well be replaced or left alone, and if left alone does it need to be re-coated? The wet well will not be replaced, and it hasn't been decided whether or not to re-coat it. Therefore, please submit a complete bid without inclusion of the re-coating, as well as a separate breakout of the additional work and costs associated with providing the re-coating.
