- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to negotiate with and award a sole source contract to Colorado State University located at 6003 Campus Delivery, Fort Collins, Colorado 80523-6003. The intent of the contemplated award is to procure services to develop a plan to identify and to test in animals appropriate antimicrobials and antimicrobial combinations for FDA approval for the prophylaxis and treatment of melioidosis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a Capability Statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. All Capability Statements shall be received by the closing date of this synopsis and shall be submitted in writing. The use of other than full and open competition for this acquisition is authorized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Subpart 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
